Dear Midwest Natural Resources Group;

You are cordially invited to attend the 2004 Midwest Natural Resources Group (MNRG) annual meeting to be held on November 17-18, 2004 at the Radisson Hotel in Schaumberg , Illinois . At this meeting we will share and focus on effective tools to accomplish the MNRG's goal to "advocate excellence in federal activities to support improved environmental quality, wise economic development, and sustained and enhanced natural resources in the Midwest ".

The theme of this meeting is " MNRG Excellence in Leveraging Resources-Shaping the Future". This meeting will focus on how the MNRG can capitalize on collective interagency and partnership efforts. The attached draft agenda outlines the activities for this meeting. The meeting will kick off at a dinner on the evening of November 17 th with a keynote speech from Debra Shore of the US Land Care Initiative, Inc. US Landcare is active in forging private-public partnerships among people who work the land, communities, businesses and government.

The meeting site is the Radisson Hotel located at 1725 E. Algonquin Rd. in Schaumburg , Illinois which is close to the Chicago O'Hare airport and a complimentary shuttle is available. They are holding rooms for our group at the government rate of $83 plus tax until November 10, 2004 so please make your reservations by that date. There will be a registration fee (cash or check only) of $55 to cover the dinner, breakfast and coffee breaks ($20 for those attending on the 18 th only) to be paid to the hotel upon check-in. A registration form is attached for your use.please send the registration form to BLM by e-mail, fax or mail so that it is received no later than November 10, 2004.
